We are looking for a dedicated Key Account Manager. You have a keen sense for customer needs, work strategically, and are passionate about identifying and developing focus customers in Germany. Ideally, you bring experience with Open Source Software Defined Storage (Ceph) and/or Kubernetes.

Your responsibilities

Location: Remote / Germany-wide
Area: Sales | Enterprise IT | Open Source | Ceph | Storage
Start: At the earliest possible date

Your Tasks

  • Identification, analysis, and development of focus customers in the Enterprise / B2B sector.
  • Creation of individual account development plans.
  • Building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline.
  • Managing the entire sales cycle through to contract conclusion (ARR/NRR).
  • Collaboration with partners and internal experts (e.g., Ceph Engineers).
  • Use of frameworks like MEDDIC / MEDDPICC for structured sales processes.

Your profile

What you should bring

  • Several years of experience in Sales / Account Management in a technical environment.
  • Proven track record in sales and strong closing skills.
  • A resilient network in the target industry.

Desirable skills

  • Technical understanding of Open Source, Ceph, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience working with partners / resellers.
  • Knowledge of sales frameworks like MEDDIC, MEDDPICC, or similar.

  • Willingness to travel and structured home office workflow.
