Your responsibilities

In our operations team, you are the backbone for data-intensive applications. We operate a bridge infrastructure where high-availability enterprise storage meets modern software-defined storage solutions. You will ensure stability, scale our customers' environments, and drive automation—in an environment where data confidentiality is the top priority.
Your key responsibilities are:

  • Ensuring Operations: Administration and troubleshooting of our storage infrastructure (NetApp MetroCluster as well as Ceph / Rook).
  • Cloud Integration: Provisioning storage services for Kubernetes and OpenStack (Manila & Swift).
  • Automation: Continuous optimization of operational processes using Ansible (Infrastructure as Code).
  • Service Continuity: Participation in a rolling on-call rotation (up to one week per month) to ensure the high availability of our systems.
  • Incident Management: Analysis and resolution of 2nd and 3rd level support issues in compliance with strict classified information (VS-NfD) regulations.
Your profile
  • Core Expertise: At least 2 years of solid experience in administering either NetApp MetroCluster or Ceph.
  • Willingness to Learn: You are ready to train in the respective other technology (NetApp or Ceph) as well as in Kubernetes and OpenStack.
  • Security & Trust: You are willing to undergo a security clearance check (SÜ2). Handling confidential information (VS-NfD) responsibly is second nature to you.
  • Commitment: You are able to balance on-call duties (approx. one week per month) with your private life.
  • Automation: Practical knowledge of working with Ansible is an advantage.
What we offer
  • 100% Remote Work: We offer true flexibility with no mandatory office presence.
  • Secure Job: A permanent position in an environment that prioritizes data confidentiality.
  • SÜ2 Support: We actively support you through the security clearance process.
  • Technological Bridge: Work on a stack that combines the best of classic high availability (MetroCluster) and modern cloud innovation (Ceph/K8s).
  • Compensated On-Call Duty: Additional compensation for your time spent on call outside of core working hours.
  • Owner-managed Company: Short decision-making paths and high flexibility.
  • Growth Opportunities: Chances for further development in a dynamic, international technology environment.
  • Modern Office: Located in the beautiful Munich district of Schwabing.
  • Attractive Benefits: Including a subsidy for the "Deutschlandticket," employer-funded health insurance (bKV), Wellpass, additional social benefits, and team events.
