CLYSO at the SCS Summit 2026 in Berlin
On May 21, the open-source community gathered in Berlin to discuss the current state and future of the Sovereign Cloud Stack. For the CLYSO team, it was a great opportunity to reconnect with the community and discuss topics like the "Deutschland-Stack" and sustainable storage infrastructures.
Our Ceph and Rook maintainer Mario Listes took the stage together with our CEO Joachim Kraftmayer at the "bUm Box". In their talk, "Taming Petabytes – Shaping the Future of Ceph and Rook as a Maintainer," they shared what it actually takes to run community code reliably at enterprise scale. They highlighted why deep core expertise and active upstream contribution are essential for building true digital sovereignty.
